"Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take , but by the moments that take our breath away!" author unknown
This sums up what this hobby, my passion does for me. It could be reading other blogs, finding out what other people are stitching, thumbing through a stitching magazine, picking the brains of my stitching buds for more ideas, adding to my stash, seeing a quote I like and thinking, someday I'm going to stitch that, planning a vacation around stitching. dreaming about retirement where I can spend more time stitching. It goes on and on and the beauty is it can only cost me extra money when I chose to let it. It gives me an opportunity to be generous, I love to share with my friends, I get as much out of giveaways as the reciever. I also love that I am leaving something of myself behind ( no children, you do not have to save everthing). Right behind my children it gives me a reason for living,a reason to wake up every day and do something I love. I guess this is a reason I'm such an ealy bird theres no better way to start off the day then spending a little time with needle and thread. I then know that what ever challengs face me I have at least one thing to be grateful for. I hope your passion for needlework has a chance to shine today.

What a nice post! My day became frenetic but I made sure I stitched on breaks! Definitely calms me down! Can't wait to get past dinner and have a good long stitch! See you soon! Hugs!
